Washington Conference

The Washington Conference is an annual event of the Tennessee Bankers Association and Government Relations Committee.

During the three-day visit, attendees have briefings with bank regulators, national banking associations, and Tennessee’s congressional delegation.  Bankers receive up-to-the minute reports on issues at the national level and have the opportunity to express their concerns and suggestions to both regulators and legislators. Meetings will be held on May 5-6, with departure on May 7. HOTEL INFORMATION:  The Washington Conference will be held at the Washington Marriott at Capitol Hill, 175 L St, NE.  There is no fee for bankers to attend. The fee for associate members is $500 unless you are sponsoring the event.  Please contact Penny Powlas if you are an associate member wishing to attend and sponsor the program. 

The deadline for making hotel reservations is April 14, 2025.  You may call the hotel at 202-972-9800 and let them know you are with the TBA Government Relations Meeting, or use this link:
