Essentials of Consumer Lending will explore strategies for succeeding in the face of competition, focusing on the practical application of current trends in marketing, delivery channels, credit evaluation, decision-making, credit enhancements, and loss prevention strategies.

The workshop will also encourage idea exchanges between the instructor and students, enriched by the instructor’s real-world experiences. A key feature of the workshop is a comprehensive Global Cash Flow case study involving a self-employed borrower with multiple income sources (and losses). This case study will guide participants through both the Personal Financial Statement and Tax Returns (personal and business), helping them understand how to determine capacity while addressing subjective issues.
