The Tennessee Bankers Association offers the Human Resources Forum to provide an opportunity to individuals responsible for human resources issues in their institutions to discuss concerns and explore solutions to problems they face on a daily basis. Facilitated by Littler Mendelson, PC, the world’s largest law firm devoted exclusively to representing management in employment and labor law matters, this program is an invaluable resource to those who participate.
The Human Resources Forum meets three times annually at the TBA Barrett Training Center, Nashville. Eric Stevens, shareholder in Littler’s Nashville office, facilitates the sessions, using nationwide experts to cover specific issues and topics requested by the forum members. The sessions are highly interactive, and the agenda for each session is based on recent employment developments with feedback from forum participants.

C. Eric Stevens is a shareholder with Littler Mendelson, PC. Stevens brings more than 35 years of experience representing employers, focusing on financial institutions. He is both a counselor and litigator and has defended employers in federal and state wage and hour class-actions; discrimination and harassment claims; and wrongful termination/retaliation/whistleblower claims. Stevens works regularly with various government agencies, including the EEOC, THRC, NLRB, Department of Labor, wage and hour, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. He assists clients with compliance and litigation avoidance by conducting in-house training for supervisory and management-level employees; providing guidance in the development of affirmative action plans; and preparing and implementing a full range of employment policies.
