Apex Bank – Mortgage Loan Originator/Apprentice

This position is responsible for soliciting residential mortgages for the secondary market program and following through with referrals from other Loan Officers and third party sources. Successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients obtain a mortgage, and oversee the process from application until the loan closing.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Solicits residential mortgages from potential clients
- Maintains referral relationships and approaches leads
- Oversees loan from application through funding
- Maintains working knowledge of available mortgage products to accurately respond to clients, potential clients, and referral sources
- Provides support to new applicants and existing borrowers, and assists in resolving loan related issues
- Ensures timely mortgage closings and an overall positive client experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful experience in secondary market mortgage lending and previous experience in structuring mortgage loans.
- Language: English required; Preferred Bilingual English and Spanish a plus yet not a requirement

- Proven Sales Background
- 3-5 Years Mortgage Lending Experience
