2108-1 Chief Credit Officer

A Community Bank located in Tennessee is seeking candidates for the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) position. This position is responsible for providing support, direction, credit information, and loan policies and procedures to ensure the overall quality of the Bank’s lending portfolio.  Duties include calculating the Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss Reserve (ALLL) and making recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors for quarterly allocations to the Loan Loss Reserve.  The position of CCO reviews and recommends “approve/decline” on large and complex loans prior to submission to the Finance Committee.  This position is also responsible for participating (as a member or guest) on several committees involved in the management of the Bank, such as the Senior Management Committee; Loan Review Committee, and Asset/Liability Committee.  The CCO performs direct supervisory duties to the Team Leads of Credit Administration; Credit Processing and Underwriting; Loan Operations; and Collections.
