Lending Trainer
Wilson Bank & Trust, a Tennessee Community Bank, is seeking candidates for its Lending Trainer position, located in Lebanon. The Lending Trainer conducts needs assessments and analyzes the training needs of Loan Officers, Loan Processors, and Loan Development Center and Loan Operations personnel as it pertains to non-real estate and consumer real estate lending. Designs/revises/develops training programs to meet the ongoing needs of the end-to-end lending process encompassing sales, fulfillment and service. Incorporates blended learning methodology as appropriate. Creates design documents, course content, lesson plans, audio/visual aids, test criteria, handouts, learning aids, and evaluation/measurement tools for all lending training programs. Implements and conducts group training sessions in products, processes, and systems related to non-real estate and real estate lending. Chooses appropriate training methods depending upon the situation (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, class room training, computer based training, etc.) Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs by analyzing learner feedback and ensures content in training programs meets the business needs of Wilson Bank & Trust. Also evaluates learner skills and on-the-job behaviors (pre and post training intervention), and makes recommendations. Provides direct feedback to team members to aid in the refinement of existing skills and the development of new skills. Serves as a liaison for Non-Real Estate and Real Estate lending, and subject matter expert, as necessary for special projects, procedure development, etc. Market available training opportunities to key stakeholders with the business to ensure success. Ensures training is in full compliance with Wilson Bank & Trust policies, procedures, operating standards and service standards. This role requires travel to various Wilson Bank & Trust locations for purposes of training. Additional training will be required to attend seminars and conferences. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program. Performs other duties as assigned.
