Job accountabilities for our Loan Operations Clerk are listed below:
- Receives information from lenders in order to prepare loan documents for loan closing
- Tracks Insurance on related loans
- Tracks collateral on related loans
- Books loans and reviews related general ledger tickets and loan fee checklist
- Reviews documentation input on loans in the core system to determine all information is correct
- Orders appraisals for secondary market
- Reviews loans for compliance and regulatory issues
- Checks billing and sends past due notices, maturity notices and payment/rate change notices to customers
- Answers questions from lenders and other bank staff related to loans
- Balances the loans with General Ledger
- Works with Participation Loans and other banks related to those Participations
- Orders Flood certification and verifies loans required to have flood insurance are kept current
- Tracks loan exceptions and prepares exception reports for lenders and management
- Maintain compliance with all bank policies and procedures related to consumer protection and Bank Secrecy Act laws
