POSITION SUMMARY

As the Business Application Liaison, you will serve as a connection between system application personnel and end users to assist in implementing technology solutions that meet the user’s needs. As a representative of the bank, you are required to present a positive and professional image at all times.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required
Five years of experience in system configuration preferred
Experience in project management practices and procedures preferred

 

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Possess written and verbal communication skills, especially in technology
  • Possess an understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Ability to read/review any contracts, instructions and agreements
  • Ability to compromise and negotiate with those involved in a project
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and vendors

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in implementing technology solutions at the request of an end user or other source to improve business processes
  • Effectively identify the requirements of the project, the need for the project, develop an implementation plan, and communicate clearly to those involved
  • Provides systems and configuration analysis to ensure the needs of the users are met
  • Assist with the system implementation, configuration management, system administration activities, problem resolution, or end user training
  • Assists with the review and implementation of any new software selections by performing the following tasks:
  • Assisting with the business case
  • Planning and monitoring the project
  • Eliciting any requirements
  • Organizing and delegating requirements/tasks
  • Communicating
  • Analyzing
  • Configuring system perimeters
  • Modeling techniques and methods
  • Developing procedures and performing training
  • Track and review system issues from end users; determine and communicate solutions
  • Maintain a current knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for banking processes and technology
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank
  • Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements
  • Actively support the ongoing development of a culturally diverse workforce
  • Complete other duties as assigned as determined by management to be reasonable and beneficial

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

You will regularly sit stationary at a workstation, constantly operating a computer or other office machinery in order to complete your job functions. You will frequently communicate with other employees through various channels such as talking, listening, and typing. You will stand and walk occasionally.
