Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for serving as the Bank’s lead financial executive overseeing and representing the Bank’s Accounting Department and all financial and accounting operations of the Bank. The position is responsible for adhering to all related generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax and regulatory laws, rules, and regulations to reflect the financial position of the Bank adequately and accurately at all times.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with CEO to formulate and execute the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present to the Board monthly reports on the financial condition and performance of the Bank and Holding Company, including budget and peer comparisons and projections.
- Prepare and present to regulators all required reports for the Bank and the Holding Company.
- Manage the Bank’s liquidity position including contingency planning and stress testing
- Manage the Bank’s investment portfolio
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Accounting or related field
- CFO or similar experience in a bank with $500+ million in assets
- Experience in Call Report preparation
- High aptitude with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
