2409-7 Loan Operations Document Processor

INSOUTH Bank is seeking a Loan Operations Document Processor responsible for processing and preparing loan documentation for branches within INSOUTH Bank.  This position must complete documentation in an accurate, timely and consistent process, according to regulatory and bank credit policy.   Utilization of various software systems including, but not limited to Laser Pro and DecisionPro.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Loan Operations Document Processor include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Prepare Review and Analyze loan documentation requests, pulling credit and collateral files when needed. Review new/renewal loan approvals for terms, rates, policy exceptions, collateral, etc. including verifying (Total Related Debt).
  • Check required State web sites for entity verifications.
  • Request any additional documentation from lender for ID of customer including Entity Documents.
  • Prepare required preliminary and final disclosures for TRID loans within guidelines and timeframes.
  • Prepare all consumer and commercial loan documents, coordinating with lenders or loan assistants. Review document packages for errors prior to sending/printing to lenders or loan assistants.
  • Cross trained for backup on duties and functions such as Imaging:
  1. Prepare and scan assigned loan document packages.
  2. Prepare and scan assigned trailing documents.
  3. Index assigned documents such as lending, credit, denials, etc.
  4. Import documents such as Appraisals, Tax Returns, shared folder items, etc.
  • Maintain Records/Files:
  1. Create labels and files as needed.
  2. Accurately file documents into files.
  3. Assists with general filing as needed.
  4. Participate in record retention and purging of paid out files.
  • Pull and file back loan files and filing of documentation.
  • Performing assigned clerical functions involving among other things filing, answering telephone, securing and opening mail, operating fax machines, copiers, and printers.
  • All other duties and projects as needed to ensure that the CDP/Loan Operations department job functions are performed as assigned by supervisor.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related Loan Operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
