First Community Bank of East Tennessee in Kingsport is seeking a dynamic individual to join our commercial lending team. We are a $210 Million community bank located in the Tri-Cities area.
We seek to hire a Commercial Lender either at a senior or mid-level position depending on experience. This position will report directly to the bank’s Chief Lending Officer.
At FCB, a Commercial Lender will be responsible for the following:
1. Actively plan and complete business development calls on prospective customers.
2. New loan origination.
3. Management of an existing loan portfolio to ensure payment performance and compliance with approved terms. Maintains ongoing interaction with current customers.
4. Operates within approved credit authority.
5. Adheres to the bank’s Credit Policy and established procedures.
6. Responsible for achieving defined personal loan growth objectives.
7. Collection activities as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an office environment
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
