Whitney Coffman, Sentry Advisors
Whitney has worked in the financial industry for nearly nine years, primarily focused on Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC) requirements and risk assessment and mitigation. Additionally, she has acted as liaison between auditors, federal examiners, and management. During her banking tenure, she worked with various departments, including loan administration, deposit operations, information technology, BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC, and Consumer Compliance / Risk Management. She has an in-depth knowledge of compliance risk management, bank operations, BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC compliance, and consumer compliance laws/regulations.
Kristin Waddle, Sentry Advisors
Kristin has worked in the financial industry for sixteen years, primarily focused on Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC) requirements, federal regulatory lending and deposit compliance requirements, and branch operations. She previously served as a Compliance Officer and BSA Officer, managing the overall compliance of the entire bank with federal and state regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act. Additionally, she acted as a liaison between auditors, federal examiners, and management and maintained all relative policies, procedures, and risk assessments. During her banking tenure, she also coordinated and managed all operations for five branch locations, including supervision of branch managers and retail banking staff recruitment, hiring, and terminations. She has an in-depth knowledge of compliance risk management, bank operations, BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC compliance, and consumer compliance laws/regulations. Since joining Sentry as a Senior Compliance Advisor, she has conducted independent compliance and BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC testing for community banks as well as AML Model Validations on various software platforms for financial institutions.
Delivery Method and Program Level/Content
This is a live, group overview program. There is no prerequisites or advanced preparation needed. Each participant will receive a manual as a reference guide with vital information participants can use every day. The instructor will take time to discuss and answer questions that participants may have and will share important and practical information concerning the tax returns.
Continuing Education Credit
Attendees qualify for 6.5 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit in the area of specialized knowledge and MUST be sure to sign in and out on the CPE attendance tracking sheet in order to receive credit. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour.
Tennessee Bankers Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
