TBA Annual Meeting

TBA will host the 136th Annual Meeting at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.  Delegates will enjoy informative speakers and social events at this annual gathering of bankers and vendors from across the state.  Registration will open in December and hotel information will be available at that time.  Be sure to sign up before the early registration deadline of May 22. Registration will increase by $100 per person after this date.  Remember to add any optional activities to your registration cart.  Activities are listed below.

Hotel Reservations

The TBA has reserved a block of rooms at The Broadmoor at special convention rates, plus applicable taxes. Rates start at $425 for Classic & Superior rooms and $465 for Premier. A $39 per night resort fee will be added to the room rate. All room types may not be available. There are a limited number of rooms for Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13.

Hotel reservations can be made online here or by calling The Broadmoor at 855-634-7711. To receive the preferred rate, identify your affiliation with the Tennessee Bankers Association meeting. Cancellations or reduction in nights must be made 7 days prior to arrival to avoid a
penalty of two nights’ room rate.

The cutoff date for making reservations at the special rate is May 10. However, the TBA room block may sell out before that date. If you plan to arrive early or stay on after the convention, please make your reservations early as space is limited.

Monday, June 15
Zipline at Seven Falls
Woods Course ($310/person) or Fins Course ($370/person)
Duration: 2.5–3 hours
Departure: 2:00 p.m., outside the South Building
Experience the dramatic Seven Falls area from high above on a thrilling series of zip lines. Your adventure begins behind the 181-foot cascading waterfalls and continues through the 1,250-foot box canyon. All guests will get views of each of the seven waterfalls. Note: The Fins Course is considered the more challenging option.
Includes:
• Private zipline tour
• Experienced guides
• All required equipment

Requirements:
• Weight range: 90–250 lbs.
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Not recommended for pregnant guests

 

Jeep Tour: Garden of the Gods & Foothills
Fee: $285/person
Duration: 3 hours
Departure: 1:30 p.m., South Building
Embark on a scenic jeep excursion highlighting some of Colorado Springs’ most iconic landmarks. Explore North Cheyenne Canyon, foothills of Pikes Peak and the Rockies, Helen Hunt Falls, the Shortline Railroad grade, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. The tour concludes with a beautiful drive through Garden of the Gods.
Includes:
• Professional driver/guide
• Bottled water, soda, and snacks
• Roundtrip transportation    
Notes:
• Rain ponchos, coats, and blankets available during inclement weather
• Closed-toe shoes required

E-Biking Adventure: Gold Camp Road
Fee: $325/person
Duration: 3 hours
Departure: 1:45 p.m., South Building
Take in unforgettable mountain views while descending from the 14,110-foot summit of Pikes Peak. After a brief orientation, guests are transported to the top, then enjoy an exhilarating 7,000-foot descent with stunning scenery throughout. Temperatures vary at high elevations, so dressing in layers is strongly recommended. Note: Guests should be comfortable with heights

• Mountain bike, helmet, and high-visibility vest

Tuesday, June 16
Pickleball Tournament
Sponsored by CRS Data and ServisFirst
Fee: $30/person
Duration: 3 hours
Start Time: 1:30 p.m. at The Broadmoor pickleball courts
Join fellow attendees for an afternoon of friendly competition and social fun. The event features a 30-minute clinic led by Broadmoor staff, followed by a round-robin doubles tournament. Players will be grouped by skill level—no need to select a partner in advance. A playoff round will determine the champions.
Notes:
• Court-appropriate shoes required
• Equipment provided, or bring your own

Explore one of Colorado Springs’ premier attractions at your own pace. Don’t miss the African Rift Valley exhibit featuring the world’s largest giraffe herd. Guests can hand-feed giraffes at several stations throughout the habitat.
Includes: Admission and roundtrip transportation

• Self-guided experience
• Some animals may not be visible later in the day

The pickleball tournament provides participants with an ideal environment for social interaction and fun!  Play starts with a 30-minute clinic conducted by The Broadmoor staff, followed by a round-robin doubles tournament.  Individuals will be placed in a group based on experience. A play-off at the end of the tournament will determine the champions.
