Northeast Tennessee community bank seeking a Bank Secrecy Act Officer.

The Bank Secrecy Act Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program.  This position performs various quality reviews and monitoring in the area of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification Program compliance.  Advises the bank's personnel of emerging compliance issues and consults and guides the bank in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of the corporate-wide BSA and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Programs.
Coordinating and assisting in the administration of independent, state and federal regulator and auditor examinations and reviews.
Coordinating responses to regulatory BSA-AML examinations and audits and actions taken to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
Maintains proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to BSA, USA Patriot Act and OFAC.
Develop and maintain BSA related policies and procedures.
Acts as the Bank's OFAC Officer.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
2+ years' experience in Bank Secrecy Act.
