As a Commercial Lending Officer with Commercial Bank, you are the driving force that develops and manages new commercial loan business in our market area. You are the expert in retaining and strengthening current relationships. Customer solutions begin with a smile and a helpful attitude as you actively listen, thoughtfully advise, efficiently meet their need, and exceed their expectations.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance required
  • 10-15 years of extensive commercial lending experience preferred, to include commercial real estate
  • Strong acumen for compliance with a strict adherence to government regulations concerning commercial lending
  • Assertive, yet tactful calling on existing and potential customers – a “velvet hammer”
  • Proven track record of developing and managing new business
  • Exceptional financial analysis abilities and solid credit administration skills
  • Excellent communication and sales presentation
  • Customer-centric mindset

Duties:

  • Develop and manage new commercial loan business
  • Analyze applicant credit history and loan repayment capability (Cash Flow)
  • Evaluate customer loan requests and make informed recommendations to management
  • Negotiate credit terms and collateral with deference to bank credit policies and procedures
  • Advise and politely educate customers regarding Commercial Bank’s products and services; recognizing opportunities to cross-sell or create referrals
