Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Tier 1 Information Technology Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide support for banking software applications and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Document and track support requests and resolutions using our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as needed.
  • Conduct basic training sessions for employees on IT-related topics and best practices.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.
  • Work closely with our Managed Services Provider.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in a technical support or help desk role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of banking operations and software is a plus.
