Duties & Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage and oversee every phase of the SBA loan process, ensuring loan applications are thoroughly reviewed, accurately documented, and processed according to SBA standards.
- Monitor the loan pipeline and ensuring swift resolution of compliance-related matters.
- Loan Servicing & Quality Control:
- Supervise post-closing activities, coordinate proper documentation, and ensure that servicing functions—such as escrow, collections, and insurance verifications—are executed with precision.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of active loan files to confirm adherence to SBA and financial institution policies, mitigating potential risks.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Develop and implement robust policies and procedures aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring ongoing compliance with federal guidelines.
- Stay updated on changes to SBA operating procedures and federal regulations, ensuring that the department’s practices are current and effective.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of loan processes, audit trails, and compliance reports required by internal management and external regulatory bodies.
- Establish performance metrics, track key operational indicators, and report progress to senior management regularly.
