INSOUTH Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our dynamic credit administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the lenders by underwriting loan requests. In addition, the Senior Credit Analyst will assist the Chief Credit Officer with the credit administration function within the Bank by helping to prepare reports and working on reviews.
The ideal candidate will have strong lending and credit skills to drive the underwriting process. This also requires sound knowledge of banking regulations. Written and verbal interpersonal, team, and communication skills should be excellent with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with all levels of personnel and business partners across the organization. The candidate must possess excellent customer contact and listening skills and be comfortable asking questions/ interviewing customers about their financial situation. "Full ownership" of any issues must be taken until they are completely resolved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Underwrite loan requests.
· Assist in loan screening, underwriting and approval.
· Ensure Compliance with Credit Policies and Procedures.
· Help prepare reports on the loan portfolio for various stakeholders.
· Adhere to current compliance standards.
· Adhere to Service Standards of Performance.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
