TBA Annual Meeting

TBA will host the 135th Annual Meeting at a new location - the JW Marriott in Marco Island, FL.  Delegates will enjoy informative speakers and social events at this annual gathering of bankers and vendors from across the state.

 

Hotel Reservations

The TBA has reserved a block of rooms at the JW Marriott at special convention rates, plus applicable taxes. Rates start at $329 and vary according to room type.  There are a limited number of rooms for Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7.

Hotel reservations can be made online here or by calling the JW Marriott at 800-438-4373 from 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.  To receive the preferred rate, identify your affiliation with the Tennessee Bankers Association meeting.  

Cancellations or changes must be made 14 days prior to arrival to avoid penalties. The cutoff date for making reservations at the group rate is May 16. However, the room block may sell out before then.


Activities

TBA also has group activities planned.  On Monday, a Day at The Beach will be held from 1:00 - 4:00pm, the TBA Golf Tournament will be held at The Rookery beginning at 12:30pm.  On Tuesday we will hold a Pickleball Tournament for all skill levels.  Please register below for these activities.

Description
Golf tournament - scramble format - begins at 12:30pm on The Rookery at Marco on Monday, June 9.  Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the course.   Club rentals are $85 plus tax and will be charged to your room.  Please advise TBA if you need to rent clubs.

Enjoy an afternoon with friends at the beach!  A DJ will be playing your favorite tunes, and included are two beach chairs, an umbrella, tropical drinks, as well as several games coordinated by hotel staff.  Grab your sunscreen and come out and play!  You must pre-register and attendees will be provided a wristband.

TBA will be hosting a “King of the Court” pickleball tournament at the TBA Annual Convention. This style of play is a fun and dynamic format where participants compete individually, but partners change as they progress. All skill levels are welcome to join, however it is necessary that all players know the fundamental rules and can keep score. Registration is done as an individual as doubles partners will be assigned and change each round. The tournament will be held on the outdoor courts at the Naples Center. Transportation will be provided for the 30-minutes to and from the JW Marriott Marco Island.
