This one-day program is for new hires and branch personnel expanding into consumer lending and those charged with organizing and managing consumer loans. It is excellent preparation for those interested in attending The Southeastern School of Consumer LendingSM.

This one-day foundational program is designed for individuals responsible for organizing and managing consumer loans. In today’s competitive environment, loan officers must excel in lending, sales, and regulatory compliance. While credit scoring is a valuable tool, it cannot replace the judgment and analytical skills of a well-trained loan officer.

The program covers effective interview techniques, methods for verifying employment and income, and the role of credit scoring in the loan process. Participants will also learn how to make informed decisions on marginal loans.
