JOB TITLE: Online Marketing Specialist

The Online Marketing Specialist supports Pathway Lending’s goals, values, and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality service, commitment, and accountability.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under the policy direction of Pathway Lending and under the general supervision of the Director, Marketing Technology, this position provides support in online marketing areas. This position will help create and support the marketing technology team in the areas of technology deployment, management, and maintenance; content creation (e.g. web pages, layouts, white papers, graphics, etc.); online engagement communications; integrations between systems; automation build outs, with a primary focus on building, optimizing, and managing online marketing engagement channels.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Creates, manages, and deploys online marketing content to create brand-relevant content across multiple engagement channels, including web pages and layouts, blog posts, marketing email, advertisements, graphics, photos, newsletters, videos and other creative assets. Coordinates edits and approvals within Pathway Lending.
  2. Works with the Director Marketing Technology to produce content for Pathway’s various email efforts, including newsletters, client acquisition and retention emails, promotional offers.
  3. Optimizes content according to its performance. Ensures the data and content used is verified, accurate, appropriate and meets internal and external standards.
  4. Tracks and updates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in various systems, and reviews analytics for performance and client engagement. Uses indicators, insights, and analytics to inform strategy and optimize tech stack and client experience.
  5. Designs and develops marketing automations throughout the tech stack, including: Intercom, WP Forms, WP Fusion, Zapier, Salesforce, and more. Continues to integrate systems and automations for seamless external user experience, and effective internal management of data.
  6. Researches and identifies opportunities for new content creation, develops brand-aligned content for use across multiple platforms, to effectively reach desired target audience and marketing goals.
  7. Gathers and reports to the Director, Marketing Technology periodic reports regarding the performance of the various campaigns and other marketing efforts to be reported to Pathway’s Executive Leadership Team.
  8. Key team member for the management, maintenance, and continued development of the marketing tech stack.
  9. Maintains understanding of current marketing and technology trends through relevant newsletters, websites, seminars, and other pertinent resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Ability to provide excellent customer service with clients, partners, stakeholders, and team members. Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, experience and ability to navigate multiple marketing tools including, but not limited to: WordPress (experience with theme.co Pro & Cornerstone highly desired), Google Webmaster Tools, Intercom, Zapier, WP Forms, Salesforce, and experience across diverse SaaS marketing tools. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization, ability to meet or exceed business goals and objectives while fostering a team atmosphere. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2-5 years’ hands-on experience with a majority of the aforementioned marketing technology tools is strongly preferred. Must have content development and marketing technology skills and experience and the ability to perform in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.

 

 

OTHER SKILLS:
Ability to communicate in English, remain in a stationary position 75% of workday, move, cognitive of job responsibilities; ability to travel when required; and ability to adapt to a changing work environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is in an office setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions. This team works in a hybrid environment, where individual contributions are made remotely and team collaboration is done in office, in MetroCenter Nashville, and travel (less than 20%) is for marketing purposes such as client interviews, research, workshops, teaching, promotion, etc.
