TBA Disaster Relief Fund

When disaster and tragedy strike, the Tennessee banking community always steps up to help those in need. From the Waverly floods to the Smoky Mountain fires to the tornadoes in Tennessee and Kentucky, you provided financial support when those communities needed it the most.

In an effort to amplify the generosity of the Tennessee banking industry and make providing financial support as easy as possible, the Association has established the TBA Disaster Relief Fund within The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This is a donor advised fund that will allow the proceeds to be given to  non-profits supporting those in communities impacted by natural disasters or other tragic events.

In November 2022, the TBA Board of Directors voted to start the fund with a $10,000 contribution from the Association. While calls for contributions will go out when needed, you can also help us build the fund now.

If you would like to contribute, you can visit this link. You can also make a check payable to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and note that the funds go to the TBA Disaster Relief Fund. For information on an ACH contribution, contact Angela Griffin at agriffin@tnbankers.org. You can visit The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for more information.

Thank you for your support of our fellow bankers and contact Colin Barrett if you have questions.
