Job Description

We seek talented and motivated manager based in one of our Benton, Humphreys, Dickson, Caroll and/or Henry County offices to originate mortgage loans with no geographic barriers within the state. You will be supported by a established banking/financial network where you will foster a culture that supports:

  • A sense of urgency as demonstrated by completed loan application to loan closing
  • Being available to address stakeholder needs
  • Constant outbound communication regarding updates to all stakeholders
  • Make the mortgage process easy

 

The result will be a positive environment, ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable growth targets achievement. We are looking for an experienced and skilled Mortgage Banker with a history of success including portfolio and secondary market production. This position has unlimited income potential.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
  • Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
  • Meet goals and metrics
  • Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
  • Share best practices with others and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the company
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
  • Initially identifying other financial needs resulting in a holistic banking relationship

 

 

Skill Requirements

  • Experienced mortgage production of $15,000,000.00+ year
  • Experience includes portfolio and secondary market mortgage loans
  • Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
  • Familiarity with industry’s rules, procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Dynamic management & leadership skills required
  • “Can do” attitude
