Summary:
This position is the primary Lender for the Collierville market and is also responsible for leading and directing marketing and promotion efforts and events within the Collierville region. Works with Retail Branch Director to develop goals and objectives for loans and deposits in the Collierville branch. Focus on building relationships throughout the region with business and community leaders. Responsible for all lending matters within the Collierville branch. Interviews loan applicants and makes credit decisions within established guidelines. Processes loan applications, prepares appropriate documentation, maintains customer relationships, approves loans that meet established lending criteria and are within approved lending limits, manages a portfolio of loans, and may coordinate collections efforts.
Specific responsibilities of the position would include, but are not limited to:
- Develops marketing and community outreach initiatives to increase Patriot Bank’s visibility in the community.
- Works with Retail Branch Director and Branch Manager to set goals for loans and deposit growth.
- Develops strategies for increasing lending and deposit growth; leads Branch Manager and Branch team to ensure execution.
- Provides leadership and guidance to Branch Manager and retail staff.
- Ensures that leadership within assigned Branch understands and demonstrates Patriot Bank’s culture and mission.
- Serves as a leader within the community, representing Patriot Bank during participation with local community organizations.
- Builds referral relationships in the community.
- Engages with community leaders and residents at local events and Patriot Bank events.
- Responsible for day-to-day operation of all loan transactions and processing of all loan documentation and collateral.
- Origination, processing and closing of loans.
- Ensures schedules and deadline are met.
- Assists with problem resolution as needed.
- Provides administrative and operational support as needed to multiple lending functions in accordance with established systems and procedures.
- Maintains appropriate files and records.
- Reviews documents prior to submission.
- Develops and prepares reports relating to duties or projects assigned.
- Performs necessary research for completion of projects.
- Coordinates collection activities.
- Responsible for obtaining updates and remaining current on legal issues and proper documentation involved with collection of delinquent accounts.
- May participate with Human Resources Director in interviewing and hiring for staff positions.
- Works with Branch Manager to identify and resolve personnel matters within Collierville branch, escalating to Retail Branch Director and Human Resources Director as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested by Retail Branch Director and/or CEO/President.
